Why do LED strips need controllers?

The lamp belt needs a controller because it can turn 220 volts AC directly into a low voltage, such as 5 volts or 12 volts. If not used, the lamp belt will be damaged directly.

Different led lights have different numbers of leads, and the power will also be different.

In general, the more the number of led, the greater the power of the whole led lamp belt, the length of the controller can carry, will also become shorter! A 5 meter controller is recommended.

The sp201e led controller is safer to use.

The controller is used for receiving signals, and it does not matter how many meters are connected. As long as there is enough switching power supply to the lamp belt, it is OK to meet the power requirements of the parallel lamp belt.

Or in a certain load range you connect the signal amplifier, you can use a controller to connect countless light strip effects!
The general design voltage of LED products is 12V-36V. The number of leds in each circuit is 3-6 in series, and the current of each circuit is reduced and limited by resistance. The current of each circuit is below 20mA.

An LED product is composed of multiple loops of LED. The advantages are low voltage, simple structure, easy to design; the disadvantage is that the current is large when the product is large, and the low-voltage switching power supply needs to be configured.

Due to the shortcomings of the product, low voltage is impossible for long-distance transmission, are limited to the volume of small products, such as signs, small patterns, etc.

According to this feature, the controller design specifications: 12V selection of 75A/30V MOS power tube control, output current 8A/road; 24-36V select 60A/50V MOS power tube control, output current 5A/channel.

Users can select the number of controllers according to the above specifications, jump can choose NE20 low voltage series, gradual choose NE10 low voltage series controller can be.

Note that LED [1] must be connected to the common positive (+) pole, the controller controls the negative (-) pole, and the controller does not include low-voltage power supply.
